Cara Pharmacy on Bundoran’s busy Main Street brought a contemporary twist to a Victorian Street back in the early 2000’s winning a Tidy Town’s award for best Architectural adaptation at the time.
The treatment of the facade appropriately maintains the building line to the North while cleverly incorporating the necessary step to rejoin the neighbouring Restaurant’s building line to the South. The upper floor is light filled and manages to draw customers effortlessly upstairs.
This long muilti-purpose development opens onto the Town Library and Civic Offices to the rear, giving permeability to the other backland developments that have since prospered.
