Quay House Mullanasole, recreating the footprint of the coastguard House that had been partially removed gave context and rationale to the architecture of the extended long house.
Light filled traditional volumes link seamlessly to the original forms. Vernacular details faithfully represent the original marine occupancy which is also befits the current owners being a Marine Engineer and a GP with strong environmental credentials.
