Designing a joyous extension to our local National School was a privilege.
The briefed involved the linking of a previous stand-alone extension to the original OPW typology, creating a new entrance, providing a new sports/multipurpose hall, a new library and additional needs suite. Enlivening, through colour light and space these rooms articulate the vibrancy of a modern school filled with fun loving active children. The 2 phases of the scheme act as book ends to the well maintained original and share the same architectural identity.
